Literature Text

Little lamb, little lamb,
Where did you go?
My heart has been searching,
For your fleece as white as snow.

Little lamb, little lamb,
How should I know?
Is the forest where the wolves dwell,
The safest place to go?

Little lamb, little lamb,
When will we meet?
Will it be in a dark crevice,
Or in the sun, when the air is sweet?

Little lamb, little lamb,
I'll ask, so tell me true,
Is anyone around me,
In a disguise and is really you?

Little lamb, little lamb,
Am I really the only one not to see?
Is there some kind of puzzle or riddle,
Or some kind of hidden key?

Little lamb, little lamb,
Tell me the answers, please do,
So I don't die alone not knowing,
And end up as a shrew?

Little lamb, little lamb,
At last, I will ask,
How long will it be,
before you stop wearing a mask?

Little lamb, little lamb,
Is it possible, can it be?
Perhaps the Mary who was hiding,
Was, in fact, me.
Just a poem I came up with. I'll let you all decide what it's about, but I just had the idea from the nursery rhyme of Mary and her Little Lamb.

I hope you like it. c:
